"Youth
with a Mission" (YWAM) is a
worldwide, evangelical, missionary organization, made up of
thousands of volunteers, of all ages, from dozens of nations
and from all walks of life. Founded in 1960, YWAM's purpose
and calling has been to train up and send as many servants
as possible, to as many places as possible, demonstrating
and sharing the life changing message of God's love and forgiveness.
Their motto throughout all these years has been, "To
know God and make Him known."
Since Don's first training school with "Youth with a
Mission" in 1992, he has studied, supported and at times
been a "part time" staff member of one of the several
hundred YWAM ministries in operation around the world.
